Tecumseh, Michigan
The City of Tecumseh is a beautiful setting for the winery. Tecumseh is located in rural Lenawee
County, about 25 miles southwest of Ann Arbor, and 30 miles northwest of Toledo. It is one of the
oldest settlements in southeast Michigan, founded in 1824.
Tecumseh has many unique small shops, and a shopping visit to Tecumseh is an excellent day trip from
the Detroit area, Ann Arbor, Toledo, Jackson, or Lansing (while you're here, we might suggest a
visit to our winery!)
Here are a few of our favorite Tecumseh websites:
-
Official City
Site
-
Cabela's
The nationally-known sporting goods superstore, located in Dundee (about 15
miles east of Tecumseh).
-
Hidden Lake
Gardens
Michigan State University's beautiful botanical garden, about nine miles
west of Tecumseh on M-50.
-
DipStix &
Stuff
A Tecumseh business specializing in gift baskets. Not surprisingly, you'll
find a few with a certain Tecumseh wine in them...
-
Black Door Gallery
Our next-door neighbor, Tecumseh's finest art gallery.
-
The Daily Grind
Our near-next-door neighbor, Tecumseh's finest cafe and gift
shop.
-
Evans Street
Station
Tecumseh's premier restaurant.
-
Kapnick
Orchards
A Tecumseh tradition for fifty years. Kapnick apples make great wine!
-
The Boulevard
Market
Where do we get the cheese to go with our wine? How about at the cheese store
just down the block?
-
The Inn on Evans
If you're planning a stay in Tecumseh (which we highly recommend), check
out this bed & breakfast, right over the aforementioned Boulevard Market.
